We, the undersigned residents and concerned individuals of Margate, are petitioning for the rehabilitation and revitalization of Margate Beach, a vital community space that plays an important role in our local culture, economy, and well-being.

Many areas have eroded, and infrastructure such as walkways, railings, and public amenities are outdated or in disrepair, making it difficult for residents and visitors to fully enjoy the area.
2 Safety Concerns: The current state of the beach presents safety hazards for swimmers, families, and children. Inadequate signage, damaged lifeguard stations, and poorly maintained walkways make the beach environment unsafe.
3 Economic Potential: A revitalized beach would not only provide a safer, cleaner environment for locals but will increase tourism and create more jobs. By improving infrastructure and amenities, we would boost local businesses and generate positive economic activity in our community.
4 Community Health and Well-being: The beach is an essential recreational space for many residents, contributing to their mental and physical well-being. What We Are Asking For:
