End rotational learning at Drommedaris Primary now!
Sign this petition to force the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) to bring an end to rotational learning at Drommedaris Primary School urgently.
Drommedaris Primary School learners in Reiger Park continue to miss out on much-needed quality learning time due to the rotational learning system.
In July last year, the school experienced a terrible arson incident where 14 classrooms were burnt down. To date, these classrooms have not been refurbished, forcing the school to continue with the rotational learning system.
There is severe overcrowding due to the shortage of classrooms. The DA is continuously putting pressure on GDE to speed up the procurement of additional resources and mobile classrooms across Gauteng.
Sign this petition demanding that the Gauteng Department of Education urgently supply Drommedaris Primary School with mobile classrooms:
- So learners and teachers can continue learning and teaching in an adequately conducive environment.
- So that all learners at Drommedaris Primary can return to school on a full-time basis.
- So that learners and teachers be afforded enough school time to complete the syllabus and fairly compete with other schools.
- To bring a temporary solution for learners and teachers until GDE refurbishes the burnt classrooms.
