We, the residents of Emalahleni and the surrounding areas, have a right to live in a clean community where our rubbish is removed.

The DA has already sent a letter to the public protector and the South African Human Rights Commission. We will take these signatures to the minister of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries and the Portfolio Committee of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries to summons the Council of Emalahleni to appear in front of the committee to explain why they are not adhering to The National management Waste Act, 2008 (Act No 59 of 2008).
